The Acting Muscle
An Evening of Scenes and Monologues in englischer Sprache
The students of the Actor’s Gym have spent the past three months
developing a repertoire of scenes and monologues, alongside poems
and original, self-devised work. The program is designed to help them
cultivate their own theatrical sensibility—discovering material that
resonates both personally and creatively—and to develop it
independently as well as in collaboration with their peers.
Throughout this process, they have explored new techniques and
approaches under the guidance of Acting Muscle teachers Adam
Ludwig and Stephanie LeBolt. They have also engaged deeply with
the collaborative spirit that lies at the heart of ensemble work. For
some, this performance marks their first appearance on a Berlin stage,
making it an especially meaningful occasion.
These actors come from all over the world, bringing with them a rich
diversity of experience and perspective. Performed in English, they
are delighted to share the results of their work with you.
